A example of a Hoax or Scam that I have personally seen or had to deal with in my life is getting messages from people acting like it is from my bank. This has happened to me a couple of times in my life but each time I knew it was a scam and just ignored it or blocked the number. The person was trying to get my credit card information so they can most likely use the card for their own purposes. It was executed pretty well as you might not know it is a scam because sometimes your bank might text or call you in the same way that the scams do. These things usually work in this day and age because you never know so it is just better to be cautious. I determined that this was fake because it was over text and I just feel like the bank would’ve called me if they needed this information so it just gave me a bad feeling so I took the cautious approach. It is always better to be safe than sorry when dealing with situations like this one.

It’s always better to be on the safe side when you get a bad feeling. I’ve heard it’s good to call your bank too and they can confirm if it’s a scam!

I agree as being more on the safe side won’t hurt you. I will also keep in mind if this happens again to call my bank.

Scam calls, texts, and emails are now more commonly sent out and it is easy for people to fall into their trap.

I agree and people need to just be more aware when doing things as it’ll continue to happen more and more especially if it is working.

Yes this seems like something that happens pretty frequently to people and can end up causing lots of trouble if taken lightly.
